The Inaugural Child of Britain Awards took place only a few weeks ago, on Friday 24th June 2022 at JW Marriott Grosvenor House. The 2022 winners were crowned in a glittering ceremony hosted by Eamonn Holmes OBE with performances from The Child of Britain Choir and Calum Scott with his tour band.
The night also raised £31,400 for Cash for Kids through a silent auction, live auction and a raffle. Cash for Kids is a grant giving charity that helps underprivileged children from across the UK, in 2021 they raised £21.4 million, supporting 548,102 children.

Founder of the awards, Blanche Sainsbury, said “We are delighted with the success of the inaugural awards. The night was a truly magical evening for our winners and our guests. We are thrilled to have raise £31,400 for Cash For Kids, despite cancellations due to rail strikes, this has added to our fundraising amount for 2022 – which now totals £87,727. The awards were incepted to shine a light on the incredible achievements of children and young people from across the UK and the awards evening did just that. We are so grateful for all of the support from sponsors, guests and celebrities and we can’t wait for 2023.”
